This past year Leonard gave up sitting in front of computer screens all day and started living outdoors. He enjoyed canoeing, hiking and driving his sports car. Most of all he loved flying. For the last 8 months Leonard was taking helicopter flying lessons and was very close to getting his license.
When you do a search on google for Leonard Zubkoff there are 12,500 hits. He knew a lot of people, was part of a lot of groups and committees and did a lot of good.

There has been lots of speculation about the accident. At this time the accident is under investigation by the NTSB and FAA. When we have details we will post them.
Instead of flowers, please send donations to:
Ketchikan Volunteer Rescue Squad
, P.O. Box 5786, Ketchikan, AK 99901
I created a website for them and will be hosting it because they were so
helpful during the month following the accident. We hope you will be generous
with your donations.
Chris and I miss Leonard every day. The way he said something, a face he
made, the way he said
