It is with great sadness that I read about Leonard's recent death. He was a good man, one I'll miss dearly. For a couple of years following my family's breakup, I came to know Leonard through my mother. He was always very supportive of both her and me, and I remember enjoying the time I got to spend with them. I fondly remember getting into technical discussions with him about Linux and early DOS/Windows OSes, SCSI drivers and technology in general, and sometimes debating the strengths and weaknesses of each OS. He was also talented in the technical aspects of music recording and production, and it was a privilege to get to know his passion for filk, through Dandelion Digital and its productions. I was aware of Leonard's passion for things outside of computers as well - he had a great interest in his sports car at the time I knew him, and Mom had told me occasionally about his wanting to learn to fly and to spend more time doing other things. I'm very sad that he's gone, but at least I'm happy knowing that he died doing something he loved. Thank you, Leonard, for the privilege of knowing you. -------- Matt Kellner (KieferSkunk)
