"History of Hancock County"
On the 2d of November, 1833, Henry Stover, of Crawford County (now
Wyandot), entered the southwest quarter of Section 7, Union Township,
and the following spring located on his land. He was a native of
Virginia, and his wife, Margaret of Ross County, Ohio. In 1842 he was
elected justice of the peace and served one term. He resided on his
farm in section 7 until his death in 1849. His widow and son, Hezekiah,
reside in Benton Ridge, and two of his daughters in Union Township. Page
488, 492died January 1849 - October 1850 conclusion, he was alive for
conception of Mahala born Nov 1849 and died before October 5, 1850
census was taken in Hancock County, OH.
